3rd Annual Lyric Masquerade Ball
January 20, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Come celebrate the Mardi Gras season by dancing the night away on the stage of The Lyric Theatre! The Junior Board of the Alabama and Lyric Theatres will host its Third Annual Lyric Masquerade Ball on January 20, 2018 at 7pm. This formal event will feature The Matthew DeVine Band playing New Orleans jazz, dancing on the stage of The Lyric, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and an open bar including wine, beer, and a signature cocktail. Food and drinks are generously provided by some of Birmingham’s favorite vendors, including Yo Mama’s, D’Armond Catering, Rogue Tavern, Shu Shop, El Barrio, Broad Street Paux Boys, Ashley Mac’s, The Standard, Busy Corner, Fish Market, Buffalo Rock, Cahaba Brewing, and Alabama Crown.
All attendees will have an up-close and personal view of The Lyric while freely roaming about the Theatre throughout the evening. VIP ticket holders will be given a behind-the-scenes tour of The Lyric and a full history of its renovations.
The Junior Board of the Alabama and Lyric Theatres was created to build awareness and support in the younger adult population for the preservation of the Alabama and Lyric Theatres and the performing arts in Birmingham, Alabama. All proceeds raised through The Lyric Masquerade Ball will go to benefit the Lyric and Alabama Theatres.
